New Pattern: Metacognition

Yippee!  It’s finally Quilt Market week and I can finally share all the crazy stuff I’ve been working on this past month.  First up: Metacognition.  This design has been floating around the studio in various forms for over a year now.  I love it in these purple and teal colors.  Hopefully soon I’ll have the second one finished to show you another color option.

One of the cool features of this pattern is a design worksheet where you can play with color choices.

This quilt was truly a group effort.  My husband came up with the original pattern idea, and Amy Jameson did the phenomenal swirly quilting you can see in the photo above.

Metacognition is available for a special sale price this week in my Craftsy store.  You can also enter to win a copy over the weekend by visiting Quilting Gallery (and for a second chance, enter a two-color quilt in the weekly “Show and Tell” contest!)

I’ll be back soon with more pattern releases!

Happy Stitching!

  1. You make me want to get everything else off my to-do list to try your new brilliant ideas. I just love this one. Having snuck a peek at the directions, it is not nearly as hard as it looks. Woo hoo!!!! I think my skill set is up to this. Color options – red-white-blue, pink-purple-teal, blue-yellow-green… many things to think about. I need to get my hands on that coloring sheet :) GORGEOUS!!
